Customers Survey Results Drive SkyBOOKS New Functions
SkyBOOKS, Inc., a Textron, Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, responds to the "voice of the customer" requests for additional functionality. Within 60 days from the date of a customer survey, SkyBOOKS responded with release 4.1 increasing efficiency and cost recovery with the following new functions:
- Summary Task Cards can be created from all items appearing on the Due list and an optional certification statement allows the Task Card to be used as a Return-to-Service logbook entry. Each Summary Task Card can be customized with individual company logo or additional tracking columns.
- MEL/Discrepancy module now tracks the MEL category, documents operational limitations, and color alerts the days remaining before compliance mandate thus reducing the risk associated with unintentionally overflying any discrepancy. It also maintains an MEL historical log for closed actions.
- Warranty component tracking is now a managed reality allowing users to quickly add warranty information and any associated documents at the component level. SkyBOOKS will even warn you when you attempt to remove or change a warrantied component. The Warranty module allows fleet operators to remove and install components to another aircraft tracking all associated meters while maintaining all accumulated historical data and original warranty expiration or limitations. The Warranty Admin tab displays warranty expiration on all loaded components.
